Day 5: Fri 16 Oct - Maroochydore to Scarborough

A glorious sunny Queensland day with lots of sun and a light breeze

An early morning walk and brekky were interspersed with getting the house ready to move. Although we’ve both enjoyed the time at the Sunny Coast this particular van park is in a relatively busy area so a bit noisy. We’ll come back and may try a different place to set up house.

After taking our time over packing up and getting mornos out of the way we pulled out at 9:10an The 85km to Scarborough was an excellent run, no hold ups and luckily the heavy traffic flow seemed to be heading north.

We arrived at the Scarborough Holiday Village about 10:40am am and didn’t take long before we were settled in. We love this park, very clean and it has excellent facilities. We feel at home straight away each time we come back.

After lunch and a rest we did some grocery shopping to restock the larder. Wendy then went for a walk while Greg had a ride, but we waited for it to cool down a bit first as it’s starting to warm up.

Our exercise routine followed.

Semi finals of the footy tonight - Raiders vs Storm so that’s what we did after settling in. We went for the Storm. Storm 30 - Raiders 10.
